description  Institutional Meat Purchase Specifications (IMPS) are meat product specifications maintained by USDA AMS. Uniform Retail Meat Identity Standards (URMIS) provides a numerical retail meat cut identification system and standardized nomenclature for every retail red meat item (beef, veal, lamb and pork). Using linked-data techniques, AFDSI imports IMPS and URMIS data to create an IMPS-URMIS ontology.
